information

- From the airport take a little bit of direction Santa Cruz (on a long straight highway), - before you reach the town take the junction for Los Llanos (then at the roundabout the first exit ... so always direction Los Llanos) - this road with many curves over the mountains, through the tunnel to the town of El Paso on the west side of the island - there you will see the big supermarket "Hiper Centro" on the right. Please follow the main road LP3, drive through the sharp left turn and stay on the road for about 1 km - Then there is a sharp right-hand bend, in which you turn left towards Las Manchas (LP2). - After about 2.5 km on a winding road, turn sharply right into Camino Pastalero. Please take this steep road down to the end. - There you turn left. After approx. 1 km you will see a yellow / orange bus stop on the left side. - After 90 m turn left (1st street n. Bus stop) into Camino Aniceto. - Drive about 270 m and then turn right into a gravel road (there is a sign 14-18). - Drive straight ahead to the gate or through the entrance gate.
Address: Camino Aniceto 18, 38760 Los Llanos / Todoque

- Here is another tip ... if you come from the airport, there is a LIDL market on the east side. He would also be good for the first purchase. (Many people from your plane know that too ... it could be full.) But the offer and the prices are good. You can see it directly from the street.

shop
There is a small supermarket in Todoque about 1 km away. Similarly, Todoque also has a butcher and a spar in La Laguna.

There is a large supermarket in El Paso, in Los Llanos there is also a Spar and a Hyperdino and now also a Lidl (at the bus station). At Palmfruit you can buy fruits and vegetables.

On the way from the airport you pass a Lidl.

Puerto Naos

The fine sandy, dark, palm-fringed beach of Puerto Naos is surrounded by a hotel and several apartment complexes. In between there is a promenade, which has some shops, restaurants and bars. Although Puerto Naos is a tourist resort, it is still pretty cozy here on the beach. Travel time by car about 7 min

Puerto de Tazacorte

In Puerto de Tazacorte is one of the larger beaches of the island. The black sandy beach offers plenty of space for sunbathing. In the background are colorful houses along a small promenade. Restaurants and cafes invite you to linger. Travel time by car about 10 min

Charco Verde

Between Puerto Naos and El Remo lies this beautiful bay that can not be missed. Here you can spend enjoyable hours by the sea and enjoy fantastic sunsets. Travel time by car about 10 min

Los Cancajos

On fine sandy beach of Los Cancajos (east side), the breakwater are upstream, enjoyable swimming is announced. The island's largest tourist resort has several hotels and apartment complexes. There are also numerous restaurants, shops and bars. Along the coast runs a newly created promenade, which invites you to stroll.

Playa de la Zamora
The beautiful Playa de la Zamora is a bit isolated on the southwest coast of the island and is divided into 2 small bays. The pretty bays can be reached via a staircase that leads down to the sea along a rocky coastline. Above is the only remaining kiosk in the area, where you can enjoy smaller dishes and refreshing drinks.
Roque de los Muchachos

The highest peak of La Palma offers a breathtaking view over the island and the neighboring island of Tenerife with the highest mountain in Spain, the Teide.

Grotto Cueva Bonita

The underwater grotto, which lies north of Puerto de Tazacorte, can only be reached by boat and has two accesses. In good weather conditions, you can also visit the grotto from the inside. Especially worth seeing is the play of light and colors created by the afternoon sun, which is a true spectacle. The Cueva Bonita is located in a protected area and in the coastal waters you will discover some interesting marine life. Some excursion boats have underwater windows and, with a bit of luck, maybe there are rays and barracudas.

Plaza La Gorieta - right in the neighborhood

Well worth a visit is Plaza La Gorieta in Las Manchas, a square decorated with colorful mosaics. The mosaics were designed by Luis Morera and they represent motifs of the flora and fauna of La Palma. Benches and shadow areas await their visitors.

Laurel forest Los Tilos and San Andrés

The laurel forest Los Tilos is one of the highlights of the East. An information center informs with an exhibition, among other things, about the emergence of the laurel forest, in addition, the bird and plant world is presented. The laurel forest itself, which boasts breathtaking nature, can then be explored on a leisurely walk or a hike lasting several hours. The whole vegetation is like a jungle. Worthwhile here is the detour to the Barranco de Agua or, of course, the legendary tunnel tour to the sources Marcos y Corderos, on which 13 dark tunnels are crossed. Very close to Los Tilos lies the coast, the enchanting village of San Andrés. Colorful houses, tall palm trees and colorful hibiscus adorn the cityscape of San Andrés. Stroll through the cobbled streets and enjoy the steady view of the blue Atlantic Ocean. Arriving at the Plaza, having a coffee, one should absorb the original atmosphere that exudes San Andrés.
